2nd Coat Plastering and Painting have just done a fantastic job plastering our hallway – we had been living in a mess for a couple of years, as a result of an abandoned over-ambitious lockdown DIY project. Paul worked amazingly quickly and removed the bits of wallpaper we had missed, completely replastered our hallway, up the stairs (which was no mean feat) to the landing and stripped and plastered the ceilings too. He was extremely conscientious working in our house and considering the amount of work he had to do in our living area, we weren’t inconvenienced at all. How long are booked up in advance?
We usually take bookings 6 weeks in advance. If you need it done sooner just let us know , we can usually work something out!
Why do you ask for a deposit?
We use a deposit to secure dates and purchase materials. On larger projects, a deposit is the first payment in a series of staged payments that are made throughout the job.
Do I need to be home during the work?
It is perfectly ok for you to be home while work is carried out if you would prefer to be. although you don’t always need to be home during the work, it’s essential for us to be able to communicate with you.
What happens after acceptance?
We will contact you within 1 business day of quote acceptance to arrange a date and time that fits with your schedule for work to be carried out.
Will i need a cleaner?
No matter how tidy our plastering work is, a little mess is generally unavoidable. To combat this, we do a full site clean and clear up on job completion, ensuring you’re not battling against plaster dust and debris once work is done.
